Native Planting at Bontecou Preserve 10/6/2026

Come help us restore the forest at Bontecou Preserve in Stanford, NY (Dutchess Co). We’ll be planting the small plants that Wild Woods Restoration Project volunteers have grown from local native seeds.
Our planting area is easily accessible via a short walk over level but uneven ground. We’ll be planting small plants with lightweight tools.
Everyone is welcome. No experience is necessary. We provide the tools.
Limited to 10 participants. Advance registration is required.
