Native Planting at Closter Nature Center

Come help us restore the forest at Closter Nature Center, Closter, NJ (Bergen Co.). We’ll be planting the small plants that Wild Woods Restoration Project volunteers have grown from local native seeds.

Our planting area is about 1/4 mile in along the trail with a short distance walking on boards across a wetland. We’ll be planting small plants with lightweight tools.

Everyone is welcome. No experience is necessary. We provide the tools.

Limited to 10 participants. Advance registration is required.
