Native Planting at Wonder Lake State Park 10/15/2026
October 15 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Come help us restore habitat at Wonder Lake State Park in Holmes NY (between Pawling, Dutchess Co. and Carmel, Putnam Co.). We’re also going to be planting spring blooming natives for a Xerces Society pollinator study.
We’ll be planting the small plants that Wild Woods Restoration Project volunteers have grown from local native seeds.
We’ll meet at a parking area and carpool to our planting site about 1 mile away. We’ll be planting small plants with lightweight tools.
Everyone is welcome. No experience is necessary. We provide the tools.
Limited to 10 participants. Advance registration is required.
For more information, contact us at info@wildwoodsproject.org or 845-614-0253.
This event is jointly hosted by Wild Woods Restoration Project, NYS OPRHP (Parks), and the Xerces Society.
